Recycled Silver

Silver is a precious alloy, quite maleable and with a whitish colour. Its purity is measured on a per-mille basis; fine silver(1000) alloy contains 99.9% pure silver and is very maleable and difficult to use. Therefore, silver alloys with smaller quanitities of silver are most commonly used, such as 925 or 950. Sterling Silver or .925 Silver contains of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals that add hardness to the alloy.

Silver as a metal can always be recycled, in terms that it can be molten and reused. Mirra Tierra jewellery is mostly made of recycled .925 silver coming from certified supplier ( Cooksongold, UK) . Recycled sterling silver is precious silver that is not mined from the ground. Instead, it is produced from extracting the silver from unwanted jewellery, scrap silver, electronics, even medical equipment or other used metal products.  Once the silver is separated from the other metals it is mixed with, it's ready to be reused. All silver scrap that occur during the making process of Mirra Tierra jewellery is also recycled and reused for new jewellery.

Ring Size Guide

Most Mirra Tierra rings are adjustable so that you will be able to style them on different fingers and mix and match them any way you like!

However, in order to ensure the perfect ring fit, please check the following tips:

-The best time to measure your finger size is at the end of the day and when your fingers are warm, because in the morning or when it is cold fingers may be a bit smaller. Maybe measure your finger size a few times for more accuracy.

How to measure your ring size

1. Use a soft measuring tape, wrap it around your finger and note the measurement.

2. Wrap a piece of paper around the intended finger and mark with a pen the spot where the ends overlap. Make sure that it would allow for the knuckle.

3. Measure the inner diameter of a ring you already have and fits the intended finger. Make sure not to include the thickness of the shank itself.

Once you have your measuments, you may consult the following table and add the Ring size in the note section of your order or choose the preferable ring size on the dropdown list on the product page.
